Accorded Agents

Your monthly actuarial work,
produced and signed.

Accorded Agents produce the recurring work of a health plan finance team—reserves, trend, variance, contract performance—inside Acuity. Our actuaries train them, supervise them, and sign every deliverable before it reaches you.

You buy the reports and the actuarial support in the categories your package covers. Agents are how we produce them.

One question. Connected work.

Each brings a specialty.
All work from context.

Agents can divide the work, exchange findings, and build on one another’s results—with the data, methods, and assumptions kept in view.

Our actuaries bring the judgment.

Every deliverable is reviewed and signed by a credentialed actuary before it reaches you.

Together in Acuity

Illustrative coordination model. Agents are versioned, evaluated against known answers, and escalate judgment calls to an actuary.

Controls

Why you can rely
on the numbers.

01

Evaluated before release.

Every agent version is tested against historical engagements with known answers before it ships.

02

Deterministic where it should be.

IBNR, grouping, and risk adjustment run as Acumen’s tested logic—called as tools, never re-derived.

03

Escalated when judgment matters.

Assumption changes, material reserve movements, contract interpretations, and out-of-tolerance results go to an actuary.

04

Signed, with an audit trail.

Each deliverable records its data version, agent version, tool calls, reviewer, and sign-off.

Common questions.

Are we buying software or agents?

No. You buy reports and actuarial support in the categories your package covers. Agents are how we produce the work, and Acuity is where you receive and review it.

Who stands behind the numbers?

A credentialed Accorded actuary reviews and signs every deliverable, and a named actuary is your point of contact.

How is AI use disclosed?

Plainly, in contracts and in each work product, consistent with ASOP No. 41. We treat agents as models under ASOP No. 56: our actuaries validate the output and own the judgment.

What happens to our data?

Protected health information is processed only within HIPAA-compliant environments, under business associate agreements with every model provider. See how we protect your data.
